Modules

Six building blocks, one data model

Every module works on the same journeys. Start with tracking and attribution, then add cost, activation, AI and reports when you need them.

01 Tracking

First-party tracking and consent

Page views, events, conversions and click IDs (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, ttclid, msclkid, li_fat_id) via your own subdomain. Order webhook for shop and CRM. Email addresses are stored as SHA-256 hashes only.

02 Attribution

Seven models, one lead model

Last click, first click, linear, time decay, position based plus Markov and Shapley. Model comparison against platform numbers from Google Ads and Meta. Soft conversions such as “3 pages and 30 seconds” are attributed separately.

03 Cost

Cost and marginal cost

API cost from Google Ads and Meta, manual entries for print, TV and events with AI import from CSV and Excel. Saturation curves per channel, marginal CPA at current spend, optimal spend at target CPA, budget optimiser.

04 Activation

Back into the platforms

Attributed values as click conversions and adjustments to Google Ads, Floodlight batches to CM360. Returns are restated, every activation runs as a dry run first.

05 AI

Assistants instead of manuals

Data chat with read-only SQL, tracking assistant for the setup, link assistant for channel rules, AI mapping for cost imports. Claude via Amazon Bedrock in the EU, your data never leaves Frankfurt.

06 Reports

Weekly report with actions

Every Monday as PDF or directly in your PowerPoint template. You describe what should be in it, the AI builds the report and backs every recommendation with numbers.

From the last click to the transition matrix

Markov computes the removal effect from all journeys, including the ones that did not convert. Shapley distributes the contribution counterfactually across coalitions. Both are transparent: transition matrix, channel weights and 28-day stability are part of the product, not of a black box. No third-party cookies, no Google data-driven attribution.

AI support

Four assistants that take work off your desk

All assistants run on Claude via Amazon Bedrock in eu-central-1. There are no API keys with third parties, and the AI only reads the data of your own account.

Data chat

Ask instead of filter

You: Which campaign had the best marginal CPA last week?
KONTRIB: Generic search “practice software” at €31.10, still €900 below the optimum at €2,400 spend.
Tracking assistant

Setup verified

Checks your site for tag, consent bridge, conversion hook and incoming events. Provides snippets for Usercentrics, Cookiebot, Borlabs, OneTrust and GTM.

Link assistant

Channel rules from links

Paste campaign links, unmapped links get a rule proposal with a trial run over the last 30 days. Applied with versioning.

Cost import

Understand the media plan

Upload CSV or Excel, the AI recognises columns, periods and channels and proposes entries with confidence. You review, then it is saved.

Roadmap

What comes next

Q4 2026

Meta Conversions API

Attributed values to Meta, with a priced-in return rate because Meta has no retraction mechanism.

Q4 2026

Shopify and HubSpot

Orders and leads directly from shop and CRM instead of via the webhook.

2027

Marketing mix model

For channels without touchpoints such as brand TV, sponsoring and out-of-home. Complements attribution, does not replace it.

Privacy

Privacy is architecture, not a banner

No consent, no identifier

Without ad_storage there is no persistent identifier. Sessions are only counted in aggregate.

Hashing instead of plain text

Email addresses become SHA-256 in the collector; plain text is never stored.

Everything in the EU

AWS eu-central-1, row level security per account, AI via Amazon Bedrock in the EU without passing data to third parties.

DPA and sub-processors

Data processing agreement, sub-processor list and export process are part of the contract. Read the DPA

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a cookie banner?

Yes, as for any tracking with a persistent identifier. KONTRIB connects to your consent tool and respects the four Consent Mode flags. Without consent, visits are only counted in aggregate.

How long does the setup take?

One script tag and one consent bridge, usually under an hour. The tracking assistant verifies the setup and provides the right snippet for your consent tool.

What happens to my data when I cancel?

You receive all raw data and results as an export (CSV, Excel, JSON). The data is deleted afterwards. The process is described in the DPA.

Why no Google data-driven attribution?

Because it cannot be audited. KONTRIB shows the transition matrix, channel weights and model stability. You can trace every number back to the journey.

Does it work for agencies with several clients?

Yes. Each client is a separate account with its own taxonomy, users and isolated data. Clients can maintain channel rules and placements themselves via Excel import with a trial run.
